Zaseki ("we") establishes this Privacy Policy ("Policy") regarding the handling of user personal information in the Service.

We collect the following information in providing the Service:

  • Account information: email address, password (stored encrypted), display name, profile image
  • Usage data: login/logout times, presence status, records of features used
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information (for service operation and fraud prevention)
  • Audio/video data: Voice and video during calls pass through our servers for real-time processing; we do not record or store them

2. Purpose of Use

Collected information is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving the Service
  • User authentication and account management
  • Displaying presence status and providing voice calls and screen sharing
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Preventing Terms violations and detecting misuse
  • Sending important service notices

3. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not disclose user personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

  • When the user has consented
  • When required by law
  • When necessary to protect life, body, or property

We use external services such as Supabase (database and authentication) and LiveKit (voice and video communication) for technical provision of the Service. These providers process data appropriately under contracts with us.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

When an account is deleted, we delete the user's personal information without delay. However, we retain data when required by law. Usage logs may be retained for a certain period for management and analysis purposes.

5. Security

We take appropriate security measures such as access controls, encryption, and audits to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information. Infrastructure is deployed in the Tokyo region (Japan) to clarify where data is stored.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Service uses cookies and local storage to maintain login state and analyze usage. These are used only as necessary for providing the Service and not for third-party advertising.
